Woolhampton Pub walk.

Woolhampton is a village in the English county of Berkshire. The village is situated on the London to Bath (A4) road between the towns of Reading (8 miles) and Newbury (6 miles). The village lies on the northern edge of the flat flood plain of the River Kennet, with the Berkshire Downs rising above the village to the north.

Free Wifi. There are six different rooms with nooks and crannies aplenty, six different cask ales on tap, a decent wine list and a shelf crammed with malts. And most important of all, you’ll find a warm welcome from a friendly crew who’ll enjoy looking after you.

Turn left out of the pub and walk across the railway crossing and the river swing bridge to see the Angel Inn, across the road.
