Turn left out of the front of the puband walk to St Mary's Church. Turn into the church path and walk around the Church keeping to the main path. At the road turn left and walk to the end. Use the small path to reach the main road. Cross the road into the residential road opposite and walk on through Mulberry Green. The Green Man will be on your left.

This is a Large Hotel with a decent Public Bar attached. Oslars Bar is run more as a public bar than a Hotel Bar. all welcome. Good Beer garden. Fuller's London Pride, Sharp's Doom Bar

From the Green Man turn left crossing Elderfield. Pass St johns Ambulance and a fire station on your left. At the end of the wall there are 3 brick stepson your left. Take this path with the cricket field on your left. Follow the path to the road and turn right. Walk through some houses and turn first right into Spice Lane. At the Hight Street cross into the pedestrianised shopping street opposite. Walk up the road then turn right then left into Market street.

A 16th century building houses the former coaching inn, with many original beams. The smaller part of the pub was a grocer’s shop until about 20 years ago.
