London, The Stations.
Route 205 was introduced as part improvements in preparation for the introduction of London congestion charge in February 2003. It connects Paddington, Marylebone, Euston, King's Cross, Old Street and Liverpool Street termini stations, as well as many London Underground stations following the northern part of the Circle Line. From the station walk to the bus stop on the North side of Praed Street and take the 205 bus for 5 stops alighting at Baker Street Station. Cross Marylebone road and enter Chiltern Street. Walk down Chiltern street to turn right into Dorset Street. The Barley Mow is on your right.

Retrace your steps to Baker Street Station and take the 205 bus for 3 stops from Marylebone Road to Euston Road/Great Portland Street. Use the crossing and you will find the Albany round the back of Great Portland Street station.

Return to the same bus stop and travel 3 stops to Euston Station. Don't get off the bus mistakenly at Euston Square but get of at Euston Station.  You will find the Euston Tap a little further along at the entrance to the bus station.

West Lodge, 190 Euston Road, NW1 2EF. Open from noon daily. Free Wifi.
A bar, one of two similar buildings that were once part of the station. The other building is a cider bar. They have every beer that you have never heard of in here. There is another room upstairs, reached by a spiral staircase.

Take the bus or walk about 10 minutes to Kings Cross Station on your left. Cross the concourse and climb the flight of stairs at the far end. (see the picture below)

The full range of Fullers ales are available. You can look out onto the platforms from this fine pub. Ever changing customers (it is a station!)

Back on the bus now for about 9 stops to Old Street Station. Head across the road and turn left into Baldwin Street to the Fountain on your right.

Take the bus to Liverpool Street Station. From Liverpool Street  station cross the road into New Street to reach the pub.

A Nicholson pub with a good range of ales.The site of the pub was an ambulance station at the beginning of the 20th Century, but its place in history was secured when one of the first electric ambulances was stationed here in 1909.
