Henley on Thames - walk 3 - north to south
This walk is all in one road, but the road changes its name twice. Start in Bell Street, through Duke Street to Reading Road. Select the pictures for larger views.

The Bull, HenleyStart at the Bull on Bell Street. 56 Bell Street, RG9 2BL Open from 10am Mon-Sat, noon on Sundays. Brakspears Ales. A beautifully refurbished pub with varied decor and style and light and darker areas. Free Wifi.

Turn right out of the Bull and walk down Bell Street to the Bell, on the opposite side of the road.

The Old Bell

Old Bell Henley20 Bell Street. RG9 2BG Open Mon-Wed and Sun from 2pm, Thur-Sat from noon. Brakspears ales. Nicely refurbished pub but very quiet on our visit. Has wifi but was very weak. They claim to be the oldest surviving building in Henley.

Walk back up Bell street to the Market Place and turn left to soon reach the Catherine Wheel.

7-15 Hart St.  RG9 2AR Open all day from 8am with a wide range of drinks and food served all day. A Lioyds No.1, free Wifi available.
The Catherine Wheel prospered during the 19th century as one of the town's main coaching inns.

Cross Hart Street by the crossing and enter Duke Street. You will find the Beer Tree on your right,

Pachangas Henley 30 Duke St  RG9 1UP. Opening times:Monday to Thursday:  12pm - 3pm & 5pm - 11pm
Friday and Saturday:  12noon - Midnight  Sunday:  12noon - 10pm
This is now much more a restaurant than a pub but drinkers only are made welcome.
A good range of lagers and bottled beers plus one ale on the pump. Was once a pub named the Beer Tree.

Continue in the same direction into Reading Road to reach the Three Horseshoes.
